About 8 years old when this happened. Mom was actually giving me a religion lesson and it turned to this.

Please read this description: Like if you are single, left out, broken hearted, wanting to grow up, or wanting time to freeze & rewind.

All of my friends suddenly have boyfriends or guys they are talking to. Me? Zip. But even though the thought of being single while everyone else is taken bugs me, every now and then I get practical and think "Just wait."

I'd rather wait until I'm a stronger person before putting my self out there for potential pain and heartbreak.

It feels like it's taking forever to grow up but at the same time I'm missing age 3 more and more.

"Patience is a virtue" Yes, I am quoting that from "The Mummy" but it's true :) Everything is worth the wait.

___ Help Me!! I seem to have lost all inspiration for new sets :( I haven't been making sets regularly for months. There was once a time where I wanted to be on Polyvore all the time! Now I try and nothing comes to me. Does anyone have a piece of advice for me? I would love to get over this inspiration roadblock. ___

DIY Bow Tank Top

DIY Bow Tank Top
This is a really simple way to make an old t-shirt cute again!

Supplies:
T-Shirt
Scissors
Ribbon (Thick, or medium width is best, no wire)
Straight pins
(this only requires two lines of stitching so if you don't have a sewing machine you'll need thread and a needle)

Step 1: Lay the t-shirt out flat and cut both sleeves off ( be sure to cut the sleeves' seams off)

Step 2: Cut across the shirt in a straight line just below the neckline/collar of the shirt (make sure you're cutting through both layers of the shirt, front and back)

Step 3: Fold the front of the shirt down on the inside and pin it in place, this is where you will later slip the ribbon through like a drawstring. Sew it across.

Step 4: Do the same thing to the back of the shirt ( again, fold down to the INSIDE) and sew it straight across.

Step 5: Now take your ribbon and put it through the space above your stitching. Put it through the front and back.

Step 6: Now just tie the bow where you want it. On top of your shoulder, in the front like in the picture, whatever you want!

You just made a very cute tank top! And if you don't want to use a ribbon for the drawstring just cut the bottom seam off the shirt then cut another strip off and use that!
I hope this was helpful! If any of the instructions were confusing just tell me and I'll explain more clearly :)
